West Allegheny Cheerleading

• This is our 10th Annual Youth Cheer & Dance Clinic - it is open to area children in grades K-6 (must be at least 5 yrs old).

• Under the direction of our Varsity Head Coach, Joe LaGrosse - and with help from our Middle School, JV and Varsity Cheerleaders - clinic participants will be taught a sideline cheer and dance and then perform them at half-time of a West Allegheny Basketball game!

• Practices are Wednesday, 1/19/2022 from 6-8 pm and Thursday, 1/20/2022 from 5-7 pm at the WA Middle School Gym.

• The performances will be Friday, January 21, 2022 during the Boys Basketball games at the WA High School Gym. Grades K-3 will perform at the JV game. Grades 4-6 will perform at the Varsity game.

• The cost is $35 per child (w/ a $5 per child discount for families w/ multiple children participating). This includes 4 hours of quality instruction in cheer and dance motions, our clinic T-Shirt, and the opportunity to perform at halftime of the game! This is especially great for current sixth graders to get a glimpse of what middle school cheer will be like.

• Optional West-A Cheer Bows are also available for pre-order, and in limited quantities at the event, for an additional $10.
